Prosecutors told Manchester Crown Court that on Saturday 26 September 2020, during an argument at a property on Leicester Road, Jak Kent (21/07/99) punched 49-year-old Lee Oates several times causing him to fall and sustain a serious head injury.
Two men and a teenager who broke into a shopping centre in Droylsden and burgled a shop for drinks before attempting to burgle three more have been sentenced.
Connor O'Casey (12/08/1997) of Bracken House, Charles Street, Manchester and Jack Brown (12/06/1994) of no fixed abode have today (Wednesday 10 February 2021) both been sentenced at Manchester Crown Court to life imprisonment, with a minimum of 27 years, after being found guilty of the murder of Leroy Hanley. Both men were also sentenced to 13 years imprisonment – set to run concurrently - after being found guilty of robbery.

All three incidents are being treated as linked and are understood to have been targeted attacks
