Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with an assault in Manchester.
It is understood that the incident took place shortly before 8am on Wednesday 7 October at Faulkner Court on Faulkner Street in China Town where an elderly man was assaulted.
The man, in his 70s, suffered facial injuries.
A man has been charged in connection with the incident but officers are keen to speak to the man in the picture as part of their enquiries.
Anyone with information or anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV image is asked to call 0161 856 3221.
