Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with a burglary in Bolton.
Officers were called to Hillside Avenue in Bromley Cross on the morning of 17 February 2021 after reports that a man had broken into an elderly couple's home the previous night and stole items from their bedroom.
Police now want to speak to a man captured on CCTV at the Shell petrol station in Tonge Moor in connection with the burglary.
A GMP spokesman said: "The images were taken from CCTV from a petrol station where stolen bank cards were used.
"The same cards were also used on the same evening at a petrol station in Salford so there is a chance the suspect is from Salford.
"We would like to speak to anyone who recognises this man."
Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting log number 544-17022021 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111. Reports can also be made through the GMP website, www.gmp.police.uk.
