Officers are appealing for information following an assault in Altrincham.
At around 9.20pm on Saturday 15 May 2021, police were called to reports of an assault which occurred at One Central Bar on One Central Way in Altrincham.
Enquiries have established that following an altercation with a man who came to sit at his table, the victim - a 49 year old man - was punched a number of times to the head and face.
The victim received minor injuries which did not require hospital treatment.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
Officers have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with this assault and have also found a watch at the scene which they believe could belong to the offender.
Neighbourhood Policing Officer Grace Tarver, Of GMP's Trafford district, said: "This was a completely unnecessary assault on an innocent member of the public and we will not stand for such behaviour in our communities.
"Officers have carried out a number of enquiries, and as part of these we are releasing an image of a man we would like to speak to and have also located a watch which we believe may belong to the offender.
"If anyone in the local area has any information about the individual pictured, or was present at the time of the assault and has information that could assist our investigation, please get in touch has soon as possible."
