Motorcyclist critical in hospital after M60 rush-hour collision

A motorcyclist is fighting for his life after a collision on a M60 slip road during rush-hour yesterday.
We were called around 4.30pm on Tuesday 31 May to a report of an incident involving a Honda CB600 Hornet motorbike and a black Audi A1 on the access slip road to the clockwise side of the M60 at junction 11.
The rider of the bike - a 24-year-old man - suffered serious head injuries and remains in hospital in a life-threatening condition.
The driver of the Audi remained at the scene and is assisting us with our enquiries.
No arrests have been made and our Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing to anyone who may have seen the incident – or who may have been driving close to the area at that time and have dash-cam footage – to contact us on 0161 856 4741 quoting incident 2035 of 31/05/2022.
