We are appealing for information after a woman died following a collision in Ramsbottom

At 1pm on Saturday 5 February 2022, we received a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Kay Brow near the junction with Bolton Street.
A woman in her 70s was taken to hospital, where she sadly died overnight.
An investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances.
The driver of the vehicle is assisting officers with their enquiries.
