A man has been charged with firearms offences following an incident at a club in Clayton.
Stewart Bowden (12/06/1980) of Canberra Street, Clayton has been charged with possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
He will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on 6 August 2019.
Shortly before 10.45pm on Saturday 27 July 2019, police were called to a report of a fight at Clayton Conservative Club during which a firearm was seen to be produced.
On Monday 29 July 2019, armed police arrested a man on suspicion of firearms offences.
