Two men have been charged with dangerous driving and motor vehicle offences in Prestwich, Manchester.
Lee Downie (10/02/1994) of Cross Lane, Radcliffe has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving, driving other than in accordance with a driving licence and driving without relevant car insurance.
Downie will appear at Manchester Crown Court on Monday 9 December 2019.
Tyler Waterhouse (08/06/1993) of Northridge Road, Manchester has been charged with taking a vehicle without the owner’s permission and consenting to be carried in a stolen motor vehicle.
Waterhouse will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Wednesday 13 November 2019.
Shortly after 12.30am on Saturday 9 November 2019, police attempted to stop a BMW on Bury Old Road in Prestwich. The car failed to stop and a short time later was involved in a collision with two vehicles on Cheetham Hill Road and landed on its roof.
