Police have made an arrest after a property was set on fire while it was occupied.
Shortly before 8pm on Thursday 5 September, police were called to reports of a fire at a property on Bordale Avenue, Moston.
Emergency services attended and the fire was extinguished.
The occupants managed to escape from the property and no one was injured.
The incident is being treated as an arson, and a joint investigation has been launched with GMFRS.
Police have now arrested a man aged 20 on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers are continuing to appeal for anyone with any information to contact police on 0161 856 1146 quoting incident number 2620 of 05/09/2019.
