A man has been charged after an assault on two police officers in Rochdale.
Christopher Hill (28/06/1990) of no fixed abode, has been charged with two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker and one count of criminal damage.
He will be remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court on Saturday 11 April 2020.
Whilst responding to an incident yesterday (Thursday 9 April 2020) on Drake Street in Rochdale, two officers were punched. One of those officers – a 21-year-old police constable – was then seriously bitten.
