A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with one count of affray, two counts of theft from a motor vehicle, one count of attempted theft of a motor vehicle and one count of allowing himself to be carried in relation to the theft of a motor vehicle.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with one count of theft from a motor vehicle, one count of theft of a motor vehicle and one count of taking without owners consent in relation to the theft of a motor vehicle.
Both teenagers appeared before Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court earlier today (Friday 24 April 2020) and are awaiting a date for their next court appearance.
A third man has today (Friday 24 April 2020) been sentenced at Salford Magistrates Court in relation to the theft of the Vauxhall Corsa.
At around 10.20am on Wednesday 22 April 2020, police were called to Dalton Close, Milnrow to reports that three people were involved with the theft of a Vauxhall Corsa that was being used by a pharmacy to deliver prescription medicine in Rochdale.
Between Tuesday 14 April 2020 and Tuesday 21 April 2020, police were called to four incidents of theft from vehicles and robbery across Rochdale, Bury and Oldham.
