A man has been charged following a rape.

William Shaw (18/04/1955) of Blackcarr Road, Manchester has been charged with rape, attempted rape and possession of Class A drugs.
He appeared at Manchester Magistrates Court today (Monday 17 August 2020) and has been remanded in custody until his next appearance at Manchester Crown Court on Monday 14 September 2020.
Shortly before 11.30am on Friday 14 August 2020, police received a report of an earlier rape at a property in the Wythenshawe area. Officers have since established that this happened on Wednesday 12 August 2020.
