A man has been charged following a stabbing in Wigan

Brian Holden (27/06/71) of Ashton Heath, Ashton-in-Makerfield has been charged with attempted murder.
He has been remanded in custody before appearing at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today (Friday 28 August 2020).
At 10.10pm on Wednesday 26 August 2020, police were called to Ashton Heath, Ashton-in-Makerfield to a report of a stabbing.
One woman was taken to hospital with stab wounds and has since been discharged.
