At around 5pm on Monday 30 November 2020, police were called to a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Dovedale Road, Stockport.
Officers attended and established that a Hyundai I10 had collided with a woman in her 60s and two parked vehicles.
The woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where she sadly died on Sunday 13 December 2020.
The driver of the Hyundai was taken to hospital with minor injuries and is assisting police with the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing and police are continuing to appeal for information.
John Harrison-Gough of GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "Our thoughts are with the woman's loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.
"The driver of the vehicle is assisting us with our enquiries but I would appeal to anyone else with information or dash cam footage from the area at the time to contact us and pass it on."
