Seventh person charged following the murder of a teenage boy in Moston.
Mohammed Al-Jaf (01/01/01) of Bradney Close, Manchester has been charged with murder and violent disorder.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday 10 December 2020).
Just after 7pm on Thursday 5 November 2020, police were called to reports of a disturbance on Birchenall Street, Moston.
Officers attended and established that Alexander John Soyoye had been stabbed. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene despite the best efforts of emergency services.
Five other men and a teenage boy have also been charged with murder and have been remanded into custody ahead of further court appearances.
