A man has been charged with bomb hoax and malicious communications in Dukinfield.
Meysam Kordi (02/01/88) of Birch Street, Dukinfield has been charged with bomb hoax and malicious communications and will appear at Manchester Magistrates Court tomorrow (Saturday 18 January 2020).
At around 12.45pm on Thursday 16 January 2020 officers were called to a property on Birch Lane, Dukinfield after a report of concern for the welfare of a man claiming to possess an explosive device.
Police can confirm that the device found was assessed and deemed safe at the scene by the bomb disposal unit.
