Amjid Hussain (05/12/1982) of Ebony Street, Blackburn, has been charged with one count of sexual activity with a child and one count of adult meets girl under 16 following grooming.
He has been remanded in custody until he appears at Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday 26 February 2020.
Police were called shortly before 6pm on Monday 27 January 2020 to a report of concern for the safety of a 14-year-old girl at a hotel in Manchester.
Officers arrived and arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of sexual activity with a teenage girl.
