Mohammed Fareed (30/09/1973) of Lorne Street, Oldham has been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit robbery and three breaches of a serious crime prevention order. He has been remanded to appear at Tameside Magistrates Court later today (Thursday 12 March 2020).
This charge comes following a strike day in the Oldham area on Wednesday 11 March 2020.
These strikes were conducted as part of an investigation in to a series of armed robberies following false advertisements on the online auction website, Ebay.
During the strikes, a further two people – aged 18 and 26 – were arrested and have been bailed pending further investigation.
Three people were previously charged in connection with this investigation on Sunday 16 February and are due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Monday 16 March 2020.
