Officers are appealing for more information after a collision in Chorlton.
Shortly before 11.10am on Monday 17 February 2020 emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a cyclist and an 80-year-old man on Albany Road near the junction with Wilbraham Road.
The 80-year- old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries to his head and back, where he remains in a stable condition.
The cyclist - a man in their 20s - remained at the scene and spoke with paramedics.
No arrests have been made and enquires are ongoing.
Anyone who saw the collision take place or who was has dash cam or CCTV footage of the incident should contact police on 0161 856 8473 quoting incident number 1733 of 19/02/ 2020.
