One man and one woman have been arrested following the discovery of a suspected methamphetamine production in Salford.
At around 8pm on Sunday 15 March 2020 police were called to reports of a disturbance on Bolton Road in Pendlebury.
Upon investigation officers discovered both equipment and chemicals believed to be used in the production of methamphetamine or ‘Crystal Meth.’
A 43-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of the production of class A drugs and remain in custody for questioning.
Inspector Daniel Welch of GMP's Salford district said: "Specialist officers continue to search the property and recover items used in the suspected production of methamphetamine at the scene.
“Although there is a higher police presence in the area I would like to stress there is no risk to members of the public. Our officers are continuing their investigations and ensuring the safety of the community.”
