A man has been charged after a man attempted to push an officer into a canal at Salford Quays.
Stephen Sean Wayne Morris (01/06/1988), of Albert Road, Manchester has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker.
He has been remanded to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today (Monday 1 June 2020).
On Sunday 31 May 2020 a man attempted to push a female officer into the canal at Salford Quays. The officer received minor injuries.
