A man has been charged in connection with a fatal road traffic collision in Bolton.
Assad Hussain (04/11/1997), of Maplewood Gardens, Bolton has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Monday 16 November 2020).
Police were called at 12.05pm on Friday 13 November to Chorley New Road, Bolton to reports of a collision involving a black Audi and a pedestrian.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the pedestrian - a woman in her 50s - sadly passed away at the scene.
