Fourth arrest in Steven McMyler murder investigation

Detectives investigating the death of Steven McMyler in Wigan in August have made a fourth arrest in connection with the incident.
Steven, aged 34, was fatally kicked in the head in the gardens of Wigan Parish Church before 7.50pm on Thursday 6 August 2020.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, he sadly passed away at the scene and a murder investigation was launched.
One man and two boys have been already charged with Steven's murder.
In the early hours of this morning (Friday 23 October) officers arrested a 20-year-old man from Merseyside on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody for questioning.
Detective Inspector Wes Knights, of GMP's Major Incident Team, said: "Our thoughts remain with Steven's family and friends - we have been working around the clock to investigate the full circumstances surrounding his tragic death.
"I would like to thank the public for their co-operation in providing any information they have had to help our investigation, and we have now been able to make a fourth arrest in relation to this incident.
