Officers are appealing for information following a road traffic collision in Heaton Moor, Stockport.
At 9.55am on Thursday 29 October, officers were called to Green Lane, Heaton Moor to a report that a vehicle and pedestrian had been involved in collision at the junction with Didsbury Road.
Emergency services attended and the pedestrian - a 57-year-old man - was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
Police Constable Simon Folwell of GMP's Road Policing Unit, said: "A man has been left in a serious condition following this incident and we are doing all we can to establish the circumstances surrounding the collision.
"Our thoughts remain with him and his family as he continues to receive treatment in hospital. Our investigation is very much ongoing into this incident and we are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or were in the area at the time to come forward and assist police in our enquiries.
"Similarly if anyone has CCTV or dash-cam footage that could assist us with our investigation then please come forward and speak with police."
