A man has been charged after an incident which saw a man shot in Levenshulme.
Dean Flowers (16/03/84) of Pipewell Avenue, Gorton has been charged with Section 18 assault, possession of a firearm and ammunition in a public place and possession of a firearm when prohibited for life.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear before Manchester Magistrates Court on Monday 28 September 2020.
At around 6.40am on Sunday 13 September 2020, police were called by NWAS to reports of a man with gunshot wounds on Pennington Street in the Levenshulme area.
The man – aged 36 – was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries. He has since been discharged from hospital and is recovering at home.
