Gilvy Anderson (19/10/62) of Davyhulme Road, Stretford has been charged with the murder of a 50-year-old man, who has since been formally identified as Emile Anderson.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before Manchester Magistrates Court on Monday 19 April 2021.
At around 9.40pm on Friday 16 April 2021, police were called to reports of a stabbing at an address on Davyhulme Road in Stretford.
Enquiries have established that Emile was stabbed following an altercation with the offender.
Emergency services attended and Emile was taken to hospital with a stab wound to his chest. Despite the best work of hospital staff, he was sadly pronounced dead a short while later.
