Officers from GMPs Middleton division will hold a second open day following a successful start to their campaign to reunite stolen tools and bikes with their rightful owners.
The first open day in July ended with eight bikes being returned as well as numerous tools.
On the 8 June 2021, officers from GMPs Middleton division raided a property on Wordsworth Road, Boarshaw and subsequently recovered 68 mountains bikes and various different kinds of power tools that are believed to have been stolen from all around the Greater Manchester area.
Police Constable Andy Gray, of GMPs Rochdale division said: "We had a good response to our first open day but we still have a significant amount of property outstanding that we really would like to be able to return to owners.
"If you believe any of the items pictured could be yours, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. We have also included a list of all the bikes recovered including a description and serial numbers.
"Anyone is free to come along to the open day which will be held at Middleton Police Station on Saturday 18 September, all we ask is that you bring proof of purchase/ownership of the item that you believe may belong to you, along with a form of ID.
"Anyone who believes an item pictured may belong to them, is asked to call Middleton Police Station on 0161 856 8701.
"Please note that the items pictured were all recovered on the 8th June 2021, so if you have had property stolen after this date, they won't be included in the attached photos."
