An investigation is underway following a firearm discharge in Bury on Sunday (22 August 2021).
Police were called to Kentsford Drive, Radcliffe, at around 11pm on Sunday to a report that a man had been shot.
Emergency services attended and a man in his 20s was treated for a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries. He remains in a stable condition in hospital.
An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is underway and no arrests have been made.
Chief Inspector Matt Oxley, of GMP's Bury division, said: "It's important for members of our community to know that when disturbances like this occur we take it very seriously and are doing our utmost to prevent any further incidents.
"We have increased patrols around the area and urge members of the public with concerns to speak with our officers.
"We are following numerous lines of enquiry to make sure these offenders are bought to justice as soon as possible."
