A man will appear in court after a car was stolen from a driveway in Salford.
Officers were called at about 7pm on Monday 16 August 2021 to Moss Lane, Walkden, to reports a blue BMW had been stolen.
The male owner of the car was approached by two men, who arrived in a car armed with machetes and wearing balaclavas.
Emdadur Rahman, 24, of Glenby Way, Chadderton, Oldham, will appear at Manchester Crown Court on 22 September 2021 charged with robbery and possession of bladed article in a public place. He remains in custody.
Detectives are still looking for a second suspect, described as 5ft 10in tall, of slim build, wearing a black balaclava, black Parka jacket and black gloves with black bottoms and trainers.
