Detectives investigating the death of an 10-month-old baby in Bolton in 2019 have charged a man.
Shortly after 5.30pm on 1 November 2019, emergency services were called to a report of a 10-month-old baby girl who was unresponsive at an address on Crompton Street, Farnworth.
She was taken to hospital where she sadly died.
Following a thorough investigation by detectives from GMP's Major Incident Team, Ali Zain (05/01/1997), of Crompton Street, Farnworth, has been charged with murder.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court today (19 August 2021).
