Two Manchester men have been charged after a delivery driver reported a gunpoint robbery in Gorton.
Antonio Osbourne (26/10/2001), of Hartington Street, has been charged with robbery joint-enterprise, possession of a bladed article, and possession of an imitation firearm with intent.
Niakki Day (29/01/1997), of Claridge Road, has been charged with robbery joint-enterprise.
Both men were charged by officers from GMP's dedicated operation to tackle personal robberies - codenamed Valiant - after being arrested by response and firearms officers.
The men were remanded in custody and appeared today (Friday 27 August) at Manchester Magistrates' Court.
They have been further remanded to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Friday 1 October 2021.
Officers were called at around 8.30pm on Wednesday to a report of an armed robbery of a delivery vehicle on Garratt Way.
Thankfully the delivery driver didn't sustain any injuries and his property was later recovered by police.
