Detectives investigating a series of robberies at a Morrisons Daily Store on Albert Royds Street, Rochdale between 13 and 23 November have arrested a man in connection.
The robberies, which occurred on Saturday 13 November, Wednesday 17 November and Tuesday 23 November involved a man, often wearing a mask and wielding an axe entering the store and demanding cash and scratch cards from the tills.
Thankfully no one received any injuries during the robberies.
Today (14 December) a man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of robbery. He currently remains in custody for questioning.
Enquiries remain ongoing.
