Zainful Abideen (05/12/01), of no fixed abode, has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving with no insurance and driving without a licence.
He has been remanded to appear before Manchester Magistrates' Court today (Thursday 9 December 2021).
Officers were called to Parkhills Road, Bury, just before 9.30pm on Saturday 27 November to reports of a two-vehicle collision.
The 16-year male passenger was reported to be trapped in the Toyota Avensis following a collision with a stationary vehicle.
NWAS and GMFRS also attended and he was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
