Sean Zaffer Traynor (20/06/1988) of Channing Square, Newbold, Rochdale has been charged with six counts of business robbery and six counts of possessing a bladed article. He has been remanded in custody and is appearing before Manchester Magistrates Court today (Friday 17 December 2021).
These charges relate to a series of robberies at Morrison's, Albert Royds and Asda at Kingsway Retail Park, Rochdale which occurred between 13 November to 13 December.
The robberies involved a man, often wearing a mask and wielding an axe entering the store and demanding cash and scratch cards from the tills.
Thankfully no one received any injuries during the robberies.
