A man has been charged in connection with an assault of an elderly man in Hyde

Nathan Taylor-Schonhut (21/12/1996) has been charged with section 18 wounding with intent, two counts of section 47 assault and two counts of section 39 assault.
He has been remanded into custody ahead of an appearance at Tameside Magistrates' Court today (02/12/21).
Police were called shortly before 2pm on Tuesday 30 November to a report of a disturbance on Oldham Street, Hyde.
Enquiries established a man in his 70s and four other people had been assaulted.
The 70-year-old man remains in hospital in a stable condition.
