A 27-year-old man has been charged in connection with the attempt murder of a man in Bolton on Saturday evening (11 Dec).
Officers were called at around 8.40pm on Saturday to a report that a 41-year-old man had been stabbed on Lincoln Road, Bolton.
Emergency services attended and the victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Jason Wilding (DOB 15/04/94), of Withington Road, Whalley Range, has been charged with attempt murder. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Wigan Magistrates' Court this morning (15 December).
The report at 8.40pm was approximately two hours after a report of another stabbing on Battenberg Road in Bolton where 25-year-old Tyrone Williamson was found and taken to hospital where he sadly died. A murder investigation is on-going.
Detectives are continuing to piece together the events that happened that evening and are still keen to hear from anyone who may have any information.
