An Oldham man has been charged with nine offences, including the robbery of an elderly couple in their own home in Oldham.
Officers were called to an address in the Hathershaw area at 3:20am on 22 December to reports of a burglary and assault.
An 88-year-old man suffered minor injuries.
Edward Thomson (DOB 06/05/1975), of Tensing Street, Oldham, will appear at Salford Magistrates' Court today (24 December) charged with:
All the offences are alleged to have happened on 21 and 22 December 2021.
The charges follow an investigation by Oldham's District Crime Team and property recovered and returned to the victims.
