On Tuesday, on the way back from one of the warrants in Ancoats, officers were approached by a member of the public who reported a theft of a large delivery of goods to a City Centre bar by two men who subsequently fled in a car.
Officers located the vehicle believed to have been involved in this crime on Oxford Road and arrested two men aged 34 and 36 - on suspicion of theft. The men were also wanted in another force area on suspicion of robbery and have been further arrested.
The car was seized and the stolen items returned to their owner.
