Nathan Carney-Williamson (06/09/1992) of Battenberg Road, Bolton has been charged with attempt murder.
He has been remanded into custody ahead of an appearance at Wigan Magistrates Court today.
Officers were called at around 8.40pm on Saturday to a report that a 41-year-old man had been stabbed on Lincoln Road, Bolton.
Emergency services attended and the victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He remains in a critical condition in hospital.
The report at 8.40pm was approximately two hours after a report of another stabbing on Battenberg Road in Bolton where 25-year-old Tyrone Williamson was found and taken to hospital where he sadly died. A murder investigation is on-going.
Jason Wilding (15/04/94), of Withington Road, Whalley Range and Adam Disa Green (13/08/2000) of no fixed abode have both previously been charged with attempted murder.
Detectives are continuing to piece together the events that happened that evening and are still keen to hear from anyone who may have any information.
