In July 2020, warrants were conducted at two addresses in Salford and Stalybridge following intelligence received around the manufacture and supply of Spice.
Mobile phones and a quantity of Spice worth around £50k were recovered.
Forensic analysis was carried out on the phones and messages were recovered which implicated Lavis and Joyce in the supply of the drugs.
Scott Lavis (15/08/91) of Mottram Road, Stalybridge and Jason Joyce (27/06/95) of Burton Walk, Salford were sentenced at Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday (1st December).
Joyce was sentenced to four years and 10 months in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply a class B drug.
Lavis was sentenced to two years and one month in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply a class b drugs and possession of a class B drug.
