A 75-year-old woman has sadly died following a collision on Wellington Road, Tameside, earlier this month.
At around 2.10pm on Saturday 18 December, police were called to reports of a collision on Wellington Road, Ashton in Tameside, between a Mercedes and a pedestrian.
Emergency services attended and a 75-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where she sadly later died on Tuesday 28 December.
The driver of the Mercedes remained at the scene to assist police with their enquiries.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
Police Constable Lee Gandy, of GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "This is a devastating incident in which a woman has sadly died. Our thoughts go out to her family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
"We are still appealing to members of the public who may have witnessed the collision or have any dash-cam or CCTV footage of the incident.
"Due to this collision happening in the middle of the day and on a weekend, we are hopeful that there will be a number of people who saw this incident and will be able to assist police with enquiries.
"If you have any dash-cam footage or information please speak to police as soon as possible."
