A man has been charged after a possible firearms discharge was reported to police in Newton Heath on the afternoon of Tuesday 19 January.
Paul Ryan (07/03/1979), of Ashton Road East, has been charged with possession of a shortened shotgun (Contrary to sections 1(1)(a) and 4(4) and to schedule 6 of the Firearms Act 1968).
He has been remanded in custody and will appear today (Friday 29 January) at Manchester Magistrates’ Court.
At around 1.45pm on Tuesday 19 January 2021, police were called to Briscoe Lane, Manchester, to reports of a possible firearms discharge.
