Aubrey Padi, (DOB 12.06.1975) of Carrfield, Hyde, has been charged with the murder of 43-year-old Tamara Padi.
Police were called at around 3.40am on Wednesday (7 July 2021) by colleagues at NWAS requesting assistance at an address on Lake Road, Stalybridge.
Officers attended and enquiries established a woman in her 40s had been stabbed multiple times.
She was taken to hospital where she was sadly pronounced dead a short while later.
Padi has been remanded into custody, where he will appear at Manchester Magistrates court on Saturday morning (10 July).
