A man has been charged following a serious assault that occurred in a pub car park in Manchester

Louis Edwards (22/04/1993) of Blackcarr Road, Manchester has been charged with Section 18 assault, and has been remanded into custody.
He's due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday 14 July 2021.
Police were called to the rear car park of Newall Green Hotel on Greenbrow Road in Manchester just before 9:30pm on Friday 4 June 2021 to reports of a serious assault involving a knife.
A 25 year old man suffered several wounds to the back of his head and neck, and was taken to hospital for treatment.
It's believed there were a number of witnesses to this incident, some of whom are believed to have captured camera phone footage at the time.
