Three charged following a knifepoint robbery in Gorton

Three people have today (22 June 2021) been charged following an incident in Gorton on Thursday 17 June 2021, where a woman was dragged from her car at knifepoint on Clumber Road, Gorton.
The following have been charged:
Brandon Smith,21, of Wildclough, Hyde, was charged with two counts of robbery and one count of possession of a knife in a public place.
Kaydn Jones, 18, of Rock Street, Salford was charged with two counts of robbery.
A 17-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with two counts of robbery, one count of driving while disqualified, one count of using a vehicle without third party insurance and one count of threatening a person with a blade in a public place.
All three have been remanded in custody, where they will next appear at Manchester Crown Court on 27 July 2021.
