A man has been charged with eight drugs and firearms offences in the Moss Side area.
Rois Cook (19/05/1988) of South Drive, Gatley has been charged with the following:
Conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of ammunition without licence, two counts of a section five firearm, supply of a Class A drug, Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, and two counts of possession of Class B drugs.
Police from Greater Manchester Police's City of Manchester division are investigating a number of incidents of targeted violence in the Moss Side and Rusholme areas, which are believed to be linked.
Officers were called at around 19:20pm (Friday 19 March) to reports of a firearms discharge on the junction where Great Western Street meets Ossory Street in Manchester.
