Seven men have been charged after 18 addresses were raided in Wigan yesterday as part of an investigation by GMP's Serious and Organised Crime Unit into the supply of class A drugs.
The following men have all been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Wigan Magistrates' Court tomorrow (Thursday 18 March 2021) charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs, and conspiracy to acquire, use, or possess criminal property:
Dean Smallwood (15/12/1979), of Landgate Lane, Wigan; Jamie Kenny (20/02/1990), of Ashwood Avenue, Abram; Leon Kenny (19/02/1991), of Warrington Road, Abram; Sam Causer (23/01/1990), of Egerton Street, Abram; Nathan Hart (17/01/1990), of Warrington Road, Abram; Lee Standen (15/10/1981), of Liverpool Road, Hindley; Daryl Golding (23/08/1985), of Brookland Avenue, Hindley.
On Tuesday 16 March, 18 addresses in Wigan were raided by police as part of an operation investigating drugs supply in the district.
Ten men were arrested - of whom seven have since been charged and three have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
