Man arrested in connection with stabbing in Wigan

A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Wigan and remains in custody for questioning.
At around 5.25am on Thursday 6 May 2021, police were called to Victoria Road, Platt Bridge, and a man in his 40s was taken to hospital where he remains after surgery.
