Two males have been charged as part of an investigation into the fatal stabbing of a man in Oldham.
Frazer McDonald (22/09/2001) of Kilton Walk, Manchester and a 17-year-old male who cannot be named for legal reasons have each been charged with one count of violent disorder.
They were both remanded into custody following a court appearance at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court yesterday (31/05/21). They are next due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Monday 28 June 2021.
Police were called shortly after 5.05pm on Wednesday 26 May 2021 to a report of a disturbance involving a group of men causing damage to a property on Fifth Avenue Oldham.
During the disturbance, 25-year-old Charlie Elms was fatally stabbed. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
