A man has been charged with recklessly endangering an aircraft in Tameside.
Reece Taylor (28/06/1993), of Margaret Street, Ashton-under-Lyne, has been charged in connection with an incident involving a GMP helicopter in the St Peter's area of Ashton-under-Lyne.
He has been bailed to appear at Tameside Magistrates' Court on 23 December 2021 after being charged under the Air Navigation Order 2016.
Officers from GMP's Ashton-under-Lyne Neighbourhood Team were called to Katherine Street at about 5:30pm on Thursday 25 November 2021 to reports a light was being shone at the helicopter.
